Our adventure begins as we cross the border between South Africa and Botswana.  Click on the rhino image to learn about our close encounter with orange-eating baboons, our lunch with elephant interlopers and our days driving through the desert in a truck with no name (or water for that matter).

Next we cross into Zambia home of Victoria Falls, or as it is known locally, Mosi-oa-Tunya (the Smoke That Thunders).  Here we experience the power of the mighty Zambezi River up-close-and personal before making our way East to Luangwa National Park in search of the elusive leopard.

It was with great reservation that we moved East into Malawi.  By doing so, both Matt and Mike broke their promise never to return to its devious and dangerous shores.  It was a promise made in the small hours of the morning 3 years ago, following a day they'll never forget.  All four adventurers were hoping this visit would be much less eventful.  Click on the picture to learn more about that fateful day in 2002 and how we fared this time around.
